Ontmoet anna | webdesign and invoice template
For my business as a graphic designer, I had a nice challenge. I proposed to a local business in Meerssen to help with their website. It wasn’t easy to find it on Google and I knew why. That is why I took contact with them. I designed and programmed an excel invoice template for them using macro’s and made an new webdesign. With the design we went to Zuiderlicht, one of the best design companies in the south of the Netherlands winning several prices. First they proposed there solutions to improve the website. Later I present my concept and apparently they completely agreed with my improvements because I had all the element they had suggested earlier. I was good to know that I’m on the same level as a professional award winning design company. It gave confidence in my own designs since I almost never get feedback from professionals, but only from the clients.

For another local business in Meerssen I did a random act of kindness. A company that put a small church for rent have an horrible banner in front of it, that is so bad I made a new one for free. I looks like a bad horror movie and the people and church itself are have much class and elegance, two complete opposites. I proposed the design to them and they were very happy. Unluckily they had just reprinted the banner with the same horrible logo and printed a lot of flyers. I will have to wait with my design to next year.
Finance
I finally did a lot of research about doing my taxes. I knew I had done it wrong in the past, so it was time to recover my mistakes and know how to do them properly. A lot of research had to be done in order to understand all the terminology. Now I know who to properly do my year income taxes with I corrected back to the year 2012 when I started my business.
